The Heritage Classic C Series is one of Northwest Door's finest handcrafted wood carriage house-style garage doors. The C Series has an extra layer of T &G wood on the face of the E Series doors. T & G wood in 1×4, 1×6, or 1×8 sizes can run vertically, horizontally, diagonally, or in a herringbone configuration to suit your requirements. Skilled craftsmen can reproduce almost any design you or your architect can create. Choose from select woods such as Cedar, Knotty Cedar, Mahogany, Knotty Alder, VG Fir, Meranti, and other precious woods.
Door frames are made with 1-1/8" thick, finger-jointed, kiln-dried West Coast hemlock/fir, tongue and groove joints at rail joints, and 1-1/8" polystyrene heartwood. Luan 1/4" mahogany plywood is pressure laminated on both sides of the frame or MDO 3/8" plywood on the outside. A 3/4" thick wood overlay is applied to the door surface to create the design, with an additional layer of T & G material applied to the door surface before the overlay is applied. The overlay material is cut in the back with 1/8 inch grooves to help resist twisting or warping before being applied to the door. All windows are truly divided if the overlay is an arched pattern, the top of the windows are also arched. Door surfaces are painted unless otherwise specified.
