Door frames are made with 1-3/8" thick finger joints kiln-dried on the West Coast, mortise and tenon rods, and rails with hinged joints on the rail joints. The door panels are made of 1/4-inch-thick mahogany Luan exterior laminated plywood. The windows are louvered and attached to the door frame. All city doors over 12 feet wide have 1/4-inch Luan mahogany plywood attached to the inside of the bottom section for optimum strength and rigidity.
